SIEF – Integrated Fugitive Emissions System
The SIEF module aims to estimate fugitive/diffuse emissions of gases or particulate matter from any production process. SIEF collects, organizes, calculates and displays emission rates from multiple areas independently or codependently, assisting in monitoring and enabling integration with alerts and emission mitigation mechanisms, becoming an active system in the work of combating non-point emissions.
With the module, companies can collect data from automatic monitors placed in strategic locations at a specific interval (e.g. 15 minutes), which will be organized in a single, easy-to-use platform, where they can be viewed and analyzed in a clear and concise manner. This contributes to better management (analysis, combat and control) of atmospheric emissions generated in the area of interest.
Its main features are:
- Configurable data acquisition rate;
- Proper interpretation and integration of information received from Monitoring Stations and calculation of concentrations in pre-established time windows;
- Overview of the satellite map of the Monitoring Network, indicating the Monitoring Stations and their concentrations;
- Individualization of concentrations in each monitored area;
- Indication of concentration levels based on criteria previously established with the contractor (example: non-critical, critical and very critical);
- Sending alerts via SMS and/or email in the event of exceeding the reference limits set together with the contractor (referred to in the previous item);
- Indication of concentration levels based on criteria previously established with the contractor (example: non-critical, critical and very critical);
- Sending alerts via SMS and/or email in the event of exceeding the reference limits set together with the contractor (referred to in the previous item);
- Visual indication of the dispersion of emissions by area, scaled, according to the measured concentrations;
- Visual indication of measured wind speed and direction;
- Visualization of measured concentrations on each monitor;
- Generation of reports and graphs of results, trends, station availability index and others.
