Praxis/Urban: Urban air quality monitor
Praxis/Urban of South Coast Science offers a hand-held solution for monitoring the quality of urban air. The monitor addresses both the challenge of capturing accurate data in variable climatic conditions and the need for very detailed air monitoring networks.
- Air heat indicator indicator...
- Alphasense optical particle counter (OPC-N3): PM1, PM2.5 and PM10.
- Alphasense electrochemical sensors: CO, H2S, NO, NO2, O3, SO2 and CO2.
- Photoionization detection (PID): VOC
- Temperature, humidity (T/rH) and barometric pressure (p) sensors.
- High frequency sampling: up to 2 samples per second.
- Up to 6 hours of operation in case of loss of external power.
- Villa designed for ultra-low noise levels and adverse weather conditions.

- ... in practice
- Ultra-low noise sensor for gases (ppb) and particulate materials (μ g/m 3).
- Support for multiple analysis techniques, including any frequency of monitoring and access in real time.
- High density air quality network using low cost devices, with individual base line.
- Open source device firmware for highly personalized detection, data delivery and analysis.
