Precipitation sensor
The AQC2021-PP Rain Gauge is a device capable of measuring the amount of rain in a given region in relation to the time at which the phenomenon occurs. The sensor sends these records via pulse signals to the Data Logger and/or cloud systems, for user consultation.
The equipment was developed to withstand the most diverse rain conditions. Made entirely of stainless, weather-resistant and long-lasting materials, the AQC2021-PP Rain Gauge is a tool that can be used in scientific, meteorological and hydrological studies, environmental monitoring and in various environments such as fields, crops, forests, cities and industries of the most varied types, and can be used with different levels of automation.
Compatible with all Data Loggers with interrupt pulse counting (Ex: AQCSA, Campbell, Vaisala, Sutron, etc.)

Operation
– Mechanism for locking the scale adjustment point

Construction
– Anodized aluminum body and base

– Fine mesh screens to prevent insects, debris and small animals from accessing the collection funnel and the independent outlets for discarded water
– Internal secondary funnel to optimize drainage in the scale, to avoid the “splash” effect
